Moon Weavers: Transform through the Women’s Wheel of Life

June 26th-28th 2026 | Waihōanga Riverside Lodge, Ōtakii

Moon Weavers;

A weekend of reflection, remembrance, and reconnection.

Under the waxing moon, a time of expansion, creativity, and deepening insight, we will gather from 10am Friday 26th of June to 2pm Sunday 28th for a powerful three-day immersion in women’s rites of passage, inviting the cyclical nature of the feminine to reveal herself.

Aimed to honour the different seasons of each individual woman’s life, Moon Weavers is a guided journey through the sacred arc of transformation.

Together we will weave key rites of passage elements with feminine archetypal work, using the timeless pattern of the heroine’s journey:

Gathering insight,

Meeting challenge,

Integrating change.

Program Information

Who is it for

This weekend is designed for:

  • Women feeling called to mark a personal threshold with intention.

  • Women sensing they are between seasons of life.

  • Women curious about the 13 Archetypes from the Women’s Wheel of Life (framework follows Carol Leonard & Elizabeth Davis' transition work).

  • Women who feel drawn to facilitate rites of passage in their own communities.

  • Women who long to be seen, witnessed, and held in circle.

What’s involved

Moon Weavers runs for three days, bringing together aspects of Rites of Passage work with exploration of the Women’s Wheel of Life, a feminine archetypal model designed by Elizabeth Davis and Carol Leonard.

Throughout this weekend we will share connection and growth, in a nature-filled, supportive space with other women. Together, you’ll experience sharing circles, song, dance, ceremony, celebration, transformation, playful games and nurturing kai.

What you’ll leave with

Alongside connection and self-reflection, by the end of the weekend you will have:

  • Identified where you stand within your own life transitions.

  • Experienced a rite of passage arc.

  • Gathered symbolic and practical tools for your next threshold.

  • Been deeply seen, held, and witnessed by a circle of women.

  • Strengthened your understanding and knowledge of rites of passage facilitation.

Who are the facilitators

Moon Weavers is held by the wāhine of Lifespan Rites. Together, we weave together many professional qualifications, skills, knowledge and embodiments. Read more about our facilitators here.
